Renasant Bank

As one approaches the main entrance to the suite, they are greeted by a focal wall comprised of a hand-crafted wallcovering, wood slats, and the company logo mounted on a large slab of stone. The space itself was asymmetrical, so the design team played off the asymmetry when designing this wall and other spaces. The floor design was a herringbone pattern with a picture frame around the offices and seating areas. This design was reimagined as a walking path to follow, similar to a park setting, with the spaces outside the picture frame being “off the path” with spaces to meet, disconnect, converse, or work.

Many of the original office perimeter walls were replaced with a new, sleek glass frame, sliding doors, and ten-foot-high glass panels. The addition of the glass panels throughout help draw more natural light farther into the space emphasizing the unobstructed views. A two-foot-wide glass panel was also incorporated to the demising wall at every office to maintain the visibility and openness within the space. A variety of seating areas and phone rooms were also incorporated into the plan to function as work areas for hoteling, or a place to disconnect or have a private conversation. A collapsible golf simulator was added to a lounge area for a more informal meeting space, and when collapsed, can host large groups and events. Planters and live plants were incorporated into the design as well, introducing the element of nature into the space.
