Harby Jewelers was mentioned in the December 2012 issues of the Business Journal as one of the “Coolest Office Spaces”. Props to John Perez, IIDA for succeeding in meeting and exceeding the clients expectations with this 1900 SF space.
Studio32 Orthodontics Open House
Hota Design Studio went to Gainesville, Florida for the open house of Studio32 Orthodontics on November 29, 2012. The space was a collaborative concept between Dr. Nicole Mullally, Buffa Blanchet Interiors and Hota Design Studio. Studio32 was a 2100 s/f build out of an existing space. The overall end product is one that we are all proud of. More pictures and rendered concepts can be found on the Explore HDS page. We wish Dr. Nicole much success with her new practice and her new space.
Cooper Lighting in Denver, Co.
Hota Design was invited to attend the grand opening of Cooper Lighting’s new showroom facility in Denver Colorado. Cooper Lighting’s new showroom was outfitted with many of their new LED lights. Hota Design would like to thank Tim Sohl for the invitation and the hospitality that we were given.
Hota Design attended the Professional Panel Discussion at FSU
John Perez from Hota Design Studio attended the IIDA North Florida Chapter’s Professional Panel Discussion at FSU October 10th, 2012. IIDA North Florida Chapter (NFC) presents this panel discussion at all the Universities and State Colleges that teach interior design. The panel of speakers encompassed professional designers who represented various design backgrounds. Attending the FSU event were Rachel Simmons (Residential Interior Designer who also teaches at AI Jacksonville) Susan Davies (Interior Designer and Director of Sales and Marketing at IFS Business Interiors) Stephanie Irwin (Designer at Gresham Smith & Partners, a large Design and Architecture firm) and John Perez (Interior Design Principal and Small Business owner). There were more than 50 students in attendance for the event. Students had the opportunity to ask questions to the panel about the design profession and or anything they had in mind dealing with interior design. IIDA NFC and IFS Business Interiors were the main sponsors of the event with raffle prizes for the students. Thank you FSU for being a great host to us. We loved the questions and look forward to visiting your campus again soon.
