Jose Cardenas
Jose Cardenas received his Bachelor of Design Degree in Interior Design from the College of Architecture, University of Florida in 2002. Upon completing his studies, Jose began work with a multidisciplinary Architectural firm located in Jacksonville Florida.
Provided with opportunities to design for a variety of project types, Jose was able to experience projects ranging from tenant improvement to large-scale new construction of educational facilities. This experience within a mid size multidisciplinary firm had allowed him to develop strong skills in all aspects of the design profession ranging from initial client meeting and conceptual development to construction documentation and project management.
Jose has been involved in multiple projects ranging from high end residential to LEED certified educational facilities. His unique ability for conceptual development has allowed him to successfully produce practical and meaningful design solutions.
Jose’s continued commitment to the design community has been evident through his mentoring and guidance of students seeking their education in the design profession. He is often found at a variety of Colleges and Universities within Florida and Georgia as a guest juror and sits on the Design Committee at a local Design Institute and is now serving as a board member for the North Florida Chapter of IIDA.
