Live Oak Contracting
Live Oak Contracting is a Jacksonville-based general contracting firm that specializes in multifamily and commercial projects. Hota Design Studio recently designed their new office space which was originally approximately 14,000 square feet of shell space in Downtown Jacksonville. Live Oak Contracting was the acting General Contractor on the project and kept to their tight buildout timeline. The overall theme for Live Oak Contracting’s new office space was refreshing.
It was designed to maximize the use of natural light with exposed and high ceilings, and facilitate an open working environment which the company fosters both internally and with its vendors. The use of light reflective materials throughout the circulation paths conveys continuity of movement, while the use of artwork and rustic elements ground the spaces and enhance the interior, providing a warmth and interest throughout.
